In the face of opposition and indifference to God’s plan, we have a choice to make. Option one leads to alienation from God, a life of suffering under the influence of darkness. Option two invites us to the Kingdom of God, offering freedom from sin’s bondage, peace, and joy. This transformation is possible through God’s gift, His Son Jesus Christ. Accepting this gift, as explained in Romans 10:9, brings salvation and a new way of life on earth, living according to God’s plan, and experiencing His love and presence. Fr Karm Debattista mssp
Fr Karm forms part of the Missionary Society of St Paul (as mssp indicates). He entered the congregation in 1978 and studied Philosophy and part of Theology at the Seminary in Gozo. Then he continued his studies in the ISERM, Malta and the university. His first missionary assignment was in Pakistan, where he stayed for many years. Then he was assigned to Peru and worked in Rome for some years. While in Malta he dedicated most of his work at St Paul’s Missionary College as a spiritual director where he still occupies that role. He evangelises through different media, radio, television and music. He presently gives his services at the Oratory MSSP in Birkirkara.
